First of all, we would like to welcome you to our family blog! We have so much going on in our lives and we would like to keep family and friends updated, but it's very hard to reach everyone every time something exciting happens, so we thought a blog would be the best way for us to share things with loved ones. Just a small update, as many of you know it has been a crazy year for Zak and I. A marriage, a house, and a pregnancy all in a year really made some beautiful memories for us and we are so blessed to have been able to share those milestones with most of you. Our marriage has been such a blessing to the both of us! We learn something new every day and its amazing to share everything with the love of your life. We are loving our first home, it's a gorgeous house with the perfect amount of space to start our lives together and bring up a family. Izzy is doing well, she is learning that there is a baby on the way and she has gotten very protective of Moma lately! A short side story, she has started sleeping with me up against my belly instead of with Zak at night, and the other night we were laying in bed when Zaylen started to kick. He was kicking against Izzy and she lifted her head around to see what was going on (looking at my stomach like "what the heck do you think you're doing??"), she threw her head against the bed and let out a huge sigh as if our son had really inconvenienced her. I'm sure you can tell who the drama queen of the family is. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and I am enjoying every bit of it. I've just started to feel some pregnancy symptoms in the last few weeks, just a little heartburn and some fatigue, but I haven't felt bad and I am so thankful for that. It's unreal that we only have ten weeks left until our baby boy is here! I can't figure out his personality yet, but I know this boy will be a swimmer! Every time I'm near/in water he goes crazy! If you haven't heard, his name is Zaylen Neil Boober.

Those are the big milestones of our year, just to catch everyone up. We are currently in Washington D.C. with Zachary's parents enjoying our Christmas vacation. It is beautiful up here and we are soaking up a lot of history. We will post our experience along with some pictures when we return home.
